JIN HIEN LAU
Jin is an interdisciplinary designer/artist applying his craft across the multitude of mediums in screen, print and projection. His strongest suit is storytelling, be it written or visual, preferably both. On top of decade worth of freelance projects, Jin is also a seasoned tutor for animation/illustration and storyboarding.
In the field of print, he has contributed to comic anthologies published by Image Comics; had a 12-page political feature printed in The Nib, and had comics featured at 4A gallery Sydney.
In the field of animation, Jin has done projection work for Sydney Opera House, collaborated with Studio Kapwa on work featured on the Washington Post and TED. With over a decade of freelance experience, Jin has tackled projects ranging from infographic animation, storyboarding, character design, and typography.
As an educator, Jin incorporates his passionate knowledge of global cinema and animation into every lively conversation, confident in his ability to expand your field of influence beyond that of the algorithm.
